The "House of Liberation" - a monument commemorating the Red Army's invasion of Berlin in April 1945 - was renovated, converted and extended between 2020 and 2023. The building offers individual counseling services for people with a migration background and refugees. In addition, a multifunctional room with a kitchenette has been set up to provide opportunities for social encounters.

A new main entrance was planned and implemented on the west gable, which also houses an elevator to ensure accessibility. The liberation memorial on the east gable outside was also restored.
