The Instituto Cervantes on Rosenstraße in Berlin is downsizing from five floors to three and needed a strong design to give the new space an identity for the institute. The project proposes an adaptation of the existing space without changing the character of the existing building. Through the Spanish architectural firm Carlos Arroyo Arquitectos, a design was developed that predominantly shapes the space with furniture tailored to Cervantes' needs.
